The beautifully pure and precise nose wafts from the glass in a mix of pear, fresh lemon, white peach, chalky soil tones, raw almond, citrus zest and stylish framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, bright and classy, with a great core of fruit, a proper sense of reserve out of the blocks, beautiful soil undertow, zesty acids and a very, very long, perfectly balanced and nascently complex finish...

Domaine from plus an external barrel. Pale lemon and lime in colour. I like this nose, delivering drive and energy, white fruit not yellow, in the relatively early picked style. There is a tensile strength and definition, a little bit of bacon fat, unquestionably grand cru. Good length too, of course.
